| It’s one of the great spectacles in Nature – sea run salmon returning to their origins, migrating upstream surmounting waterfalls and Grizzlies to spawn in the place of their birth.For centuries the Native people have revered “seqey” as a potent symbol of triumph and endurance.Since time began, their journey has been a celebration of life itself – asource of enrichment and vitality. Flashes of crimson and silver signal their Homecoming, rejuvenating the forest and the creatures of fur and feather that wait and watch in eager antixipation.
Today, the relentless drive of the salmon to fulfill it’s destiny and the abaility to truly be yourself is captured in a statement that stands behind all that we do – “Follow Your Instincts”. It’s not always easy. There are bills to pay, deadlines to meet, commitments to honor. But life is short and we mean to saviour every moment. It’s what sets us apart. In essence, Salmon Run is testimony to the bond between Man and Environment. Our clothing pays tribute to the spirit of adventure that lures a fortunate few out amongst the wild things, where you can still meet and match Nature on her own terms. Always unpredictable, out there you take nothing for granted. You come prepared -crisp mountain air, a sudden squall, the sun’s warming touch, a soaking rain. Some people don’t understand – never will. But we do, and that makes all the difference |
